My favourite festival

My favourite festival is Christmas. Many years ago, it's Jesus birth. Some people came to visited him.

I like this festival because it's near to my birthday(my birthday is in 9/12), and this festival has a long long hoilday! Ha!

I always watch fireworks with my parents that day.

The shopping and eating paradise-----Osaka

Osaka is the third bigger city in Japan. It has a lot of things to eat too!
In Osaka, there is a Museum called,” Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum”. Tezuka was a great people who draw comic well. The famas be created are Astro Boy, Black Jack, and Princess Knight.etc. Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum tells us Tezuka’s amazing life and his comic.

If you like eating, you must go to Osaka! There are many yummy food like Kushikatsu, Mixjuice, Takoyaki.etc. What is Kushikatsu? It means BBQ meat. The meat will be stringed together and people will use oil and fire to broil them. In the shops in Japan, people always eat them with drinking beer.

In Osaka, there are some shopping department stores called ”x-girl”,”Agnes b”,”Vivienne Westwood”.etc. You can buy many beautiful bags and backpack in there too!

My favourite drink

My favourite drink is Cream Soda. Everytime when I am thristy or after I play badminton, I will bring some money and buy this yummy drink.

It's yellow and it tastes as sweet as honey, but it has some air in it. It is a carbonated soft drink.

But in other city or country, it's very funny.There have either red, pink or blue. In our city, Hong Kong, someone will drink it with milk too! Ha! I never try it before.

Myself

Hello! My name is Maisy. Someone think I’m clumsy but I think I’m funny. In there, you will know more about me and my friend Phoebe.

I am study in UCCKE 1B. I am now 11 years old because I was born in December. I like to play badminton and read books. I like drawing too. But I only can draw some comics. When I see someone’s drawing is beautiful, I’ll think how to draw as good as him or her. I like to eat ice-cream and sushi.

Phoebe is my friend in school. She plays tennis once a week. We become good friends when it was English summer holiday lesson. We both like drawing. She thinks my drawing is cute! Ha! She is friendly and cheerful. She always smiles. I like her very much.

I hope to make more friends.

On Mother's Day, I'll try my best to make you happy.
To give you a bunch of carnations represents my honour to you. Honouring mother is what the Bible tells me to.
Effect you have on me is your love and care.
Remembering your instruction leads me to the right path.

Mid-Autumn Festival--moon cakes

The Mid-Autumn Festival is on 15th of August in Lunar Year. There is a traditional story that tells why people eat moon cakes in this festival.

In 1279-1368, Chinese people were governed by people live in Mongolia. By the Mogo people’s govern, Chinese people likeness to have an abyss of suffering. So, they prepared to revolt on 15th of August in Lunar Year.

They gave some moon cakes that concealed a letter to their comrades. The letter said, "15th August night, kill tartar, welcome personal loyalty." They used this idea, let their china comrades know they would revolt, are they clever?

In the past, moon cakes were made of lotus paste, but now, moon cakes are not only made of lotus paste; they are also made of chocolate, ice-cream……etc.

For me, I only like moon cakes that are made of lotus paste, because it’s about our Chinese history.

Grammer

Today, I learnt know to use "where" to make sentense :
e.g. The flat (thing you want to talk) where people live (show clearly the thing)was very dark(describe it).
In there , you can see 2 sentenses:
a.People lived a flat.
b.It was very dark.
*So, we can use"where" to add information about a place.
